You have done a great literary job in keeping it fictional, yet the storyline seems so real and gives hope to women of intelligence. And there are excerpts in the book that really makes you go uhm...
On the news earlier this week, I heard on CNN where they were talking about the 10 power houses that run the political race. Unnamed, but its five Democrats and five Republicans. Of course I thought about the book. I said to myself Ebraheem is not far off from the truth in his writings.  Just to digress...my friend who I gave your book to, we were talking about starting a positive escort service for African American women because it is needed. Little did she know at the time I was thinking about "Mariyam", my fictional mentor whom I will keep in mind as I ask the question to myself, "let me see...what would Mariyam do?"

Again, thank you for causing me to read your book twice and passing it on for others to share in this literary experience. This book has made a mark in my life that can never be erased. I'm going to get my game together on the chess board for sure.
